Purpose
To encourage consumption and invigorate local economy by promoting tourism of MICE attendees.To enhance MICE attendees’ satisfaction and strengthen the urban brand image of Busan
Overview of Support
Beneficiaries: Domestic conferences held in Busan with at least 500 attendees for at least 2 days and international MICE events held in Busan with at least 10 foreign attendees

MICE Attendee Tour Program

  • About the Program
    • Suggestion of and support on MICE-tailored tour programs
  • Details of Support
    • Themed tour course suggestions (Busan Tourist Guide Book)
    • Tour buses (45-passenger buses) and tour guides (translation service, various languages) *Support may vary depending on the scale of event and number of attendees
  • Beneficiaries
    • International MICE events held in Busan in 2019 (Events with at least 500 attendees including at least 10 foreign attendees, held for at least 2 days)

Process

Priority support provided to regular beneficiaries and, applicants received all-year-round (e.g. applications received 10 days before the opening day of an event) shall be reviewed on a first-come-first-serve basis based on the budget available.

  • Eligibility: Organizations hosting/organizing an event, Agencies (PCOs. PEOs) with a power of attorney
  • How to Apply
    • Regulation Application: First-Half (around March), Second-Half (around August)
    • Rolling Basis: Check announcements/notices on BTO website
  • Others: Within 7 days of ending the support, satisfaction surveys on mobile tourist information centers are answered.
